Droitwich Lions at Hanbury Fête

Hanbury Fête is a regular event on the fund raising calendar of Droitwich Lions Club. Some years it rains, some years it is hot and sunny. This year was a good old mixture of sunshine and showers. Still, over £500 was raised so no complaints.

Being in Archers country they just had to sell the two volume history of the Archers that were in amongst the books on the books stall. The Lions were convinced that there had to be an Archers fan out there amongst the public attending the fete. Lion Andrew Milner took up the challenge and eventually found one. Jokingly she was told that she would end up on the club’s website and in the news. The Lions were not sure she believed them.
