The new President of Warwick Lions Club is Norman Winnett, who is retired and lives with his wife Patricia in Shrewley.

Lion President Norman who was previously President in 2003-4 said:- “I am looking forward to another busy year. Our fourth Beer Festival was very successful, allowing us to give donations of £1500 each to Myton Hospice and Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance. We also hope to bring the procession back to Warwick Town Carnival on Saturday 29 June 2013 when the theme will be children's stories.”

Lion President Norman also stated that recruiting new members would be a high priority, as they bring new ideas to the club.

The club's next big event organised jointly with Warwick Round Table & Warwick Rotary Club will be Warwick Town Bonfire and Fireworks on Saturday November 3. Please see Warwick Town Bonfire for further information.
