Solihull Lions Club recently presented a cheque of £1,000 to a domestic abuse charity in Solihull.
Solihull Lions Club donated £1,000 to Make a Better Life Trust (MABLTS), a Solihull-based charity which provides support and information to anyone suffering from domestic abuse.
Several of the Lions partners held fund raising events and raised around £900 of the money themselves. The total sum should keep MABLTS going until February of 2013.
Eunice Bate, wife of Lion Ken Bate said, “It really is such a wonderful charity and we were really pleased to be able to help them through our own efforts.”
