Out of the 25 teams that entered, Acocks Green Lions, a team never far from the top on this event, triumphed this year with a massive score of 79. Wellingborough proved the dark horse and took second place with a highly commendable score of 76.5. There was even a monumental battle between the two Bedworth teams to secure the booby prize.
There was the usual fun, frivolity and the occasional thoughtful silences as a room full of brain cells got a thorough workout from the question master, Steve Worrall. The entry money and the raffle proceeds, together with a donation from Knowle and Dorridge Lions, go towards a Lions Sight Savers Eye Camp.
