BOLLYWOOD MUSIC NIGHT RAISES £3,500 FOR COVENTRY MYTON HOSPICE

An evening of traditional and contemporary music was organised by Lions Club of Coventry Godiva in October last year at the Alan Higgs Centre, Coventry to raise funds for the local charity, Coventry Myton Hospice. The charity which is based at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire is the chosen charity for his year of Lion President Subhash Aggarwal.

The evening was attended by over 200 people including Lions, friends, family and music lovers of all ages who had the treat of listening to Bollywood Music from a much sought after singer, Sylvester, the winner of a popular TV show, accompanied by other talented vocal artists and musicians.

The Club was very fortunate to have the event being supported by Barclays Bank to make it successful. Everyone who attended had a great time, not only to enjoying a memorable evening listening to popular Bollywood music but also helping to raise over £3,500 for the Coventry Myton Hospice Charity.
