Worcester make Mother Club Visit

Worcester make Mother Club Visit

A recent visit was made by Worcester Lions Club to its mother club Hereford Lions.

It was in 1969 that Hereford Lions Club supported the start of Worcester Lions Club. With both clubs now in different Districts meetings between the Clubs had not taken place for many years.

At the suggestion of a visit by Worcester Lions the response by Hereford was very welcoming.

Eleven Worcester Lions set off to attend a Hereford Meeting – finding out about fundraising, good causes and hearing about running a holiday home – and even being invited to partake in pre-season preparing of the holiday home at Burnham-on-Sea.

The evening was complete, with Hereford Lions providing an excellent buffet supper, and members from respective clubs discussed their respective clubs in a relaxed atmosphere.
