A smile was brought to the faces of members of the Gateway Club when they purchased a Karaoke machine thanks to the support of Shakespeare Lions. Under the umbrella of the MENCAP organisation the club has approximately 50 members who have the opportunity to meet most days of the week. They have been a beneficiary of Shakespeare Lions for at least 20 years. Contributions are usually made to them a couple of times a year giving them the opportunity of enjoying Day trips, Christmas parties and donations to their funds. It is hoped that that this new equipment, will give hours of enjoyment. Until they took to the microphone it was not realised they had such budding stars in their midst.
