Over the weekend of Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October members of Shirley Lions Club joined in the nationwide tin shake in aid of Diabetes UK in association with Tesco’s. Shirley Lions were allocated the Monkspath store in Shirley, Solihull and collected the grand sum of £1,026.09.
As with the recent tin shake for Marie Curie members wore their own club tabard as well as the Diabetes UK headband so a good PR exercise for us as well as raising funds for a worthy cause.
