The Lions Club partners charity has made a donation of £1000 to Community Transport.

Community Transport is based in the St Ann’s Church Centre in Bewdley. They cover all of North West Worcestershire and at the present time have 2000 people on the books who need their Services to take them to the doctors, hospital, shops, dentist, library and other essential journeys. The organization has 60 volunteer drivers many of whom use their own cars.

They have two specially adapted vehicles for wheelchair users.

Community Transport are always on the lookout for more volunteers and anyone interested should contact them on 01299 405832.

Kidderminster and District Lions Club where at the opening of Bewdley Festival on Saturday 7th October to promote sight awareness.

The Lions are also making Preparations with Father Christmas for the tours of the district starting in December.
