Kidderminster Lions Help Local Sports Clubs

Some of the elder members of the Stourport Cricket Club helped Kidderminster Lions collect money with the Christmas Float last year. With the money they raised they have refurbished an old shed and put shelving inside to keep the junior’s kit clean, dry and tidy.

Stourport Cricket Club have over 150 youngsters between 7 and 17, male and female, on the books playing cricket at all age levels This picture was taken recently when Lion President Ron Cross presented them with the £880 they had earned.

Wyre Forest Junior Netball Teams wanted to purchase some new kit so that all four of their teams could compete with common identity. Kidderminster Lions granted them £1,000 for the black and green outfits with Lions logo printed on the left sleeve.

The cheque was presented by Lion President Ron Cross at a Saturday morning training session in the Netball Dome in Stourport.
